FOME STUDIO ETCHING PRESSES

The 3 Presses in this series are designed for Professional/Studio use and represent extraordinary value. The bedplate is driven by the generously spoked drive wheel fixed directly to the lower roller. As the lower roller is relatively small, there is no need for the complication of gearing. Pulling a series of prints is easy, even for youngerprintmakers, because the lower roller is mounted on ball bearings. The upper roller is mounted on oscillating ball bearings attached to two runners which slide along the lateral upright by means of regulating screws. The regulating screws have an elastic steel ring system which ensures the right amount of flexibility in the printing pressure. The elastic steel rings are highly sensitive and will allow the press to be used for printing fino or woodblocks. Blocks up to 30mm can pass through the rollers. The lateral uprights are made of solid steel and the drivearms are removable. The 3mm steel bedplate is guided by four rotating rollers and is included with the Press. Leaf‑stripper for argil with rack feed of metal plate. Moving upper roller in aluminium 010Omm. Millimetnic adjustment of leaf thickness from 0 to 40 mm. Steel lower roller in 058mm. This article can be fixed on a table or suitable easel (Art. 3449-3459-3469); it's equipped with lengths.
